It just aggregates a couple of different services… page rank, backlinks etc… and generates a most likely completely arbitrary price for your website. (Along with a baseline figure if you wanted to throw ads up) A link on my site is worth 3 bucks a month . HOORAY. And total Value is $318.

Other interesting tidbits :

Dream.In.Code is worth $83,000. (does not factor in monetary loss derived from capty99 leaving if its ever sold)
NateMcguire.com is worth $0 . Nice work dude.
ErikStark.com Does not even register in the system. Not even lying to you.

pretty sure that ad clicks mean nothing. they wouldn’t have a way to gather that data.

its because of the length of time i’ve had the site. though i did nothing with it. they probably average my traffic out over that length or something.

also… unlike my site, your site could easily be taken over by someone new. so it would have more monetary value.

my site is only worth something if they hold onto the creative writing and spirit of the site that i imbue it with… so if i sold it , you can’t really replace that.
